Turkey ETA Overview

The Turkey Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is an online visa system that allows eligible foreign nationals to obtain travel authorization before visiting Turkey. This convenient system replaces traditional visa sticker applications for short-term visits.

ETA Types

Tourist ETA

For tourism purposes including sightseeing, cultural visits, and holiday travel. Multiple entries allowed.

Business ETA

For business activities such as meetings, conferences, and trade visits. Multiple entries allowed.

Valid passport with at least 6 months validity
Digital passport-style photograph
Valid email address for receiving ETA
Credit/debit card for payment (Visa, MasterCard)
Travel dates and purpose of visit
Current address and occupation details

Processing Time & Validity

Processing Time

Standard: 24-48 hours

Urgent: Within 4 hours (additional fee)

ETA Validity

Valid for 180 days from date of issue

Each stay: up to 90 days

Eligible Countries

The Turkey ETA is available to citizens of over 100 countries including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union nations, Australia, and many others. However, certain countries may need to apply for traditional visas through Turkish diplomatic missions.
